The Light of Christ

A collection of links on prayer, children's spiritual formation, liturgy, the Bible, and more. These interested me from my own perspective: that God reveals the nature of God and the incredible healing power of love in every day of our lives, and the Holy Spirit is always working on a wonderful reconciliation between each of us and the Lord our God.

My Episco-Anglo-Catholic Pew

The varied links I've gathered up reflect my belief that there is a powerful, potentially creative tension in the Anglican tradition between God's immanence (God is continually revealed through all of creation) and God's transcendence (God is beyond our understanding).

My Needle's Worke

I love early seventeenth-century English band samplers, and counted-thread needlework of all sorts... needlework in women's lives through history and in the liturgical churches. What I do is counted cross-stitch, other counted needlework like Hardanger and drawn-thread work, and some needlepoint.

Gardens and wingèd things

In 1998 I expanded my hands-on experience from windowsill and container gardening to ...planting into the ground!! Then in 1999 I moved from zone 8a in north Florida to zone 7 here in central Oklahoma, which was definitely an adjustment. My Gardens page focuses on gardening for ourselves and for wildlife, gardening in the south, and birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The page about my garden back in north Florida... well, it's self-explanatory.
